Fine Artist Jessica Sanders selected by Sundance Cinemas via StudioVox for exclusive Gallery Exhibit

HOUSTON - Jan. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Fine Art Painter Jessica Sanders was selected by Sundance Cinemas Gallery of Robert Redford's Sundance Group for an exclusive exhibition at their Sundance Cinema Gallery in Houston, TX.  The artist’s work was chosen from a group of local artists who submitted their work for consideration to Sundance via an exclusive partnership with StudioVox.

Jessica Sanders’ exhibition entitled “Joy of Discovery” will run from December 23 through March 2015.  Her work features highly colorful abstract acrylic and mixed media works, which the artist claims are inspired by color and emotion and created from a place of vulnerability and the willingness to let go. It is in letting go and embracing her own vulnerability that Jessica feels most connected to her art and the world. The results are highly textured and bold images that express organic movement and evoke thoughts of cosmic mystery and the fluidity of nature.

The artist explains her art as being on a journey; each step leading her towards discovery and joy. She calls this her “Thread of Joy” and her goal is to bring you along as a partner, creating a connected transformational experience for the artist and the viewer. “Making art is about so much more than the paint and canvas. It’s about reaching past logic and letting go of control – following the path that leads deep into your soul, your intuition, your spirit. It’s about letting your best self shine”, says Jessica.

Sundance Cinemas VP of Marketing and Gallery Curator, Nancy Gribler selected Jessica to exhibit after experiencing the connection the art creates with the viewer and the environment, ‘Jessica Sanders’ abstract paintings are a breath of fresh air. They evoke the water and the trees and life that exists in her surroundings. She has a way of capturing it in a way that puts me at ease. We are so proud to be exhibiting her work at Sundance Cinemas Gallery’.
