By: The Russ Agency A versatile actor and dancer, Brown will also appear as Tap Griot in The Ensemble Theatre – Houston’s production “Fly,” directed by Allie Woods. Written by playwrights Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan, “Fly’ pays tribute to the legacy of the iconic Tuskegee Airmen who were the nation’s first African American pilots during World War II and contributed to the desegregation of the United States armed services. “Fly” runs from January 29, 2015 through February 22, 2015. Most recently, Brown appeared in the award-winning feature film “Homebound” Brown, who resides in Houston, earned his Bachelor of Arts in theater from the University of North Texas and trained in the University of Houston’s M.F.A. program with a focus in acting. His film credits include “God and Country,” “Czech Beautiful” and “Friday Night Lights.” Brown’s theater credits include “Love & Fire,” “Katrina: The Bridge” and “There Is One In Every Family.” He has also landed principal appearances in a variety of national and international commercials for popular brands such as Sudden Link, Footlocker, American Express, Fuddruckers, Academy Sports, Heineken and Blair Underwood’s BU Collection.
