Bonita Springs Lions Club Donates $8000 To Bonita Springs Assistance Office

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Bonita Springs FL- Bonita Springs Lions Club has made a donation of $8000 to Bonita Springs Assistance Office (BSAO).   Since 1962 Bonita Springs Lions Club has supported a variety of charitable needs in the local community, with the Assistance Office being a long time recipient of their charitable giving. Lions Club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community, as well as in communities worldwide.

“We would like to thank The Bonita Lions club for their amazing generosity as we move forward in putting these funds to good use within the community. This $8000 will go a long way in supporting our efforts to provide money management counseling, referrals and in helping to keep our food pantry stocked.  BSAO so appreciates the on-going support Bonita Springs Lions Club has demonstrated and looks forward to continuing our relationship in the years to come,” said Marjorie Kasell-Johnson, Executive Director of BSAO.

For 35 years the mission of Bonita Springs Assistance Office, a United Way partner agency, has been to provide temporary relief to local residents impacted by a financial or personal crisis.  The goal is to foster independence and self-reliance through education and by bridging the financial needs of the recipients.
