Milwaukee Businessman Joins Easter Seals Wisconsin Board of Directors

MADISON, Wis. - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Jason Klawonn of Kenosha has been named as a director of the Easter Seals Wisconsin Board of Directors. The statewide board consists of 18 individuals who dedicate their time to support Easter Seals Wisconsin programs that assist people with disabilities across Wisconsin.

Klawonn is a graduate of Drake University in Business Administration and has worked as an actuary for Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee for more than eighteen years, where he is currently Vice President Advanced Markets. He lives in Kenosha with his wife Beth and their two children, Casey and Cailin.

Klawonn was introduced to Easter Seals Wisconsin in 2006 when his twelve-year-old son, Casey, first attended Wisconsin Elks/Easter Seals Wisconsin Respite Camp.  Casey was diagnosed with a severe type of autism and his disabilities made it more and more challenging for Klawonn’s family to spend time together.  But that changed because of Easter Seals Wisconsin.

For the past nine years, the Klawonns have been able to spend much-needed time together, from camping and fishing to taking trips with friends or spending special time with their daughter.  During these breaks, they had confidence that Casey was in a safe place with people who respect and care for him.

“The impact that Easter Seals Wisconsin has had on my marriage and family is beyond measure,” says Klawonn. “I look forward to giving back by serving on its Board and its Camp & Respite Committee.”
