Since that time, Schools has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Chartway family of credit unions, including vice president of lending, corporate strategy officer, and corporate divisional president. “Brian has made enormous contributions to our organization throughout the past several years, proving that he has both the skills and the deep appreciation for the impact our organization is able to have on people’s lives,” said chief executive officer Ron Burniske. “He is a tremendously talented and widely respected financial executive who is ideally suited to facilitate the continued growth and success of our member-focused credit union.” Schools holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
