Short course on Helicopter Design and Technology to be organised by IIAEM, Jain University

BANGALORE, India - Feb. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Aerospace engineering is a sophisticated and interdisciplinary field involving innovative technology and rewarding career opportunities. It is important to be thoroughly educated on the latest developments of this field to have a rewarding career. International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM), Jain University in association with Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI) has conceived and designed a three-day short course on Helicopter Design and Technology. The course will be conducted from 24 - 26 February 2015, from 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. at Aeronautical Society of India, Suranjandas Road & Old Madras Road Junction, Bangalore- 560 075.

This course aims to expose the broad features of helicopter technology to young engineers, Research & Development (R& D) personnel and personnel involved in manufacture, operations, maintenance and flying of helicopters. The modules that will be covered in the course include advancement in helicopter design and technology, helicopter rotor system, material and composites, and flight-testing and flight safety requirements. These components will be delved into detail by academicians, experts from industry and R & D personnel related to the field of helicopter technologies.

This course is unique because of the involvement of highly qualified speakers, which will make practical aspects come into focus rather than just theory. Participants will be hugely benefited by this one of a kind course, which will give them up to date knowledge in the field of helicopter technologies.
