World Renowned Joffrey Ballet School Holds Auditions at Dancer’s Gallery in Cooper City

COOPER CITY, Fla. - April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Dancer’s Gallery dance studio including the CAST Performing Arts Center was proud to host the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive audition. Dancer’s Gallery has been in business for over 18 years and in 2012 launched a division of academic programming combined with a full pre-professional perfroming arts education named CAST: Career in the Arts School of Talent.  Dancer’s Gallery dance studio ambassadors were on hand to greet the Joffrey Ballet School and auditioning dancers that came from around Florida as well as St. Thomas and Grand Caymen. CAST Performing Arts Center at Dancer’s Gallery in Cooper City was the perfect backdrop for the audition.

Teddy Talbot, Artistic Director of CAST says, “It was an absolute pleasure hosting an audition of this caliber. The Joffrey Ballet School is a world-renowned pre-professional ballet school and we are honored that we were chosen to host their Broward County auditions for their pre-professional ballet, contemporary jazz and tap summer programs.  In addition, Dancer’s Gallery and CAST Performing Arts Center was the only location in all of South Florida to hold the Joffrey’s Broadway Musical Theater audition.  It’s a wonderful experience for all of these talented young dancers who share the passion of performing to come together for this potentially life changing opportunity.  To see these like-minded young individuals unite under one roof, here at Dancer’s Gallery and the CAST Performing Arts Center, is both inspiring and motivational for instructors like myself.”

Most of the students from Dancer’s Gallery that auditioned for The Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive made it into at least one of the programs.  “We wish all of the dancers the best experience possible when they begin their summer adventure in New York City at The Joffrey Ballet School.  They will grow not only as dancers, but as individuals and I am excited to see the changes in them when our new season begins in the fall,” says Christie Stark, Dancer’s Gallery and CAST owner.
