The Naples Players To Hold Auditions for "Legally Blonde"

NAPLES, Fla. - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- The Naples Players (www.naplesplayers.org/auditions) will hold auditions for adult and teen productions of the summer musical, Legally Blonde, by appointment only beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South, Naples.

         Four principal women, three ages 18-35 and one age 35-50 and four supporting women, ages 16-30 are needed.  Three principal men, two ages 20-30 and one age 40-65 as well as one supporting male, age 25-45 are needed. Those auditioning should be physically fit and comfortable showing their body.  A large singing and dancing ensemble, ages 16-60 with multiple small featured parts, are also available. When casting for KidzAct Legally Blonde, ages 14 – 18 will be considered for all roles.

         Adult rehearsals begin May 18^th.  Performance dates are July 8 – August 9.  Teen rehearsals begin June 29 and performance dates are August 14-16.

         What does an eternally optimistic, perky sorority girl do when she loses the man of her dreams? Apply to Harvard Law School to win him back, duh! Based on the book and movie of the same name, Legally Blonde is a fun, energetic and hysterically funny look at Elle Woods and how she defies expectations by proving that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
