Second Charity Workout with Joe Flacco Raises Money for SJOG

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - May 18, 2015 - PRLog -- On Sunday, May 17th, Quarterback, Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens and Evolution Fitness of Cherry Hill, NJ joined together to raise money for St. John of God Community Services (SJOG) with a charity workout event.  Two years ago, Evolution Fitness and Joe Flacco held a charity work out for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).  This year the charity event consisted of two workouts, which were opened to both kids and adults whom were excited to raise money for a great cause alongside a former Super Bowl Champion.

“Today I saw reality take place right in front of my own eyes,” said Brian Kane, co-owner of Evolution Fitness, the gym in Cherry Hill, NJ that organized and hosted the event.  “All the attendees of the charity work out with Joe created an environment of team work, which is one of our proudest core values at Evolution Fitness.  I believe that team work is one of the greatest human qualities to inspire change. Today we created change, not just in our physical capacity, but change in the hearts of those that need it the most. Each person who came through our doors today not only committed to the work out, but to help a cause that serves people who deserve to succeed themselves,” he continued.  “We created memories today, memories that will last a lifetime and immediately change the world of our fellow humans who need it most.”

“The room was filled with smiles, cheering, high fives, hugs and encouraging one another with sincerity. It was great to see everyone having fun while doing the work out as Joe walked the room to connect with each participant,” said Danielle Kane, co-owner, Evolution Fitness. “We want to thank everyone who helped put forth the effort to raise as much money as possible for SJOG.  We also want to thank all of our volunteers and staff that donated their time to help run a successful charity event.  And, of course, we appreciate our member, Joe Flacco, for being so instrumental in the success of each charity event we host.  We are happy to announce that through individual sponsorships and our charity event, we raised $3,800.”  Evolution Fitness is still accepting donations.
