It's time to team up for the River North Challenge June 30

CHICAGO - June 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Gather friends, family and coworkers and get ready to compete in the River North Business Association's 6th Annual River North Challenge June 30. Participants will spend the evening venturing through River North hotels, partaking in several physical and mental challenges.

This year's challenge is presented by Chaun Spa at The Langham, Chicago (http://www.langhamhotels.com/en/the-langham/chicago/?semid=tlchi-brand-google-ppc-rooms-20140603). Event sponsors are Comcast Business (http://business.comcast.com/local/chicago) and Republic Services (http://www.republicservices.com/). Past participating businesses have included Google, Urban Innovations and BMO Harris Bank.

Teams are faced with new challenges at each check point, providing competitors the chance to earn "challenge points" towards a grand prize as well as a stamp on their "passports." A team's total points, completed passport and the accuracy of their challenge answers will ultimately determine the River North Challenge winner!

The locations along the River North Challenge are sure to keep you fueled for success. Not only does this event deliver in the fun and games department, but it is also accompanied by complimentary food and beverages at River North's favorite destinations-the Challenge stops.

Each Challenge stop presents teams with the choice of an active challenge, mental challenge or both to gain maximum points. After completing each challenge, the team will be given the location of the next challenge. Bonus checkpoints along the journey will provide competitors with additional opportunities to increase point totals.

All event participants also will be entered in a Door Prize Drawing to further their chances of taking home prizes such as gift certificates from restaurants, bars, hotels and spa packages.

Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, uniforms or looks that are designed around a team theme. The team with the most creative attire will win Best Costume!

Upon completion of the challenge, enjoy the River North Challenge After Party at Blackfinn Ameripub (http://blackfinnameripub.com/).  While waiting for the winners to be announced, munch on Blackfinn favorites and enjoy the open bar until 9 p.m.

The Challenge takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is followed by the after party at Blackfinn Ameripub (http://blackfinnameripub.com/) from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 30.
