Gaming personalities set for #E3Takeover June 17

LOS ANGELES - June 11, 2015 - PRLog -- As the world descends on the annual E3 event in Los Angeles to check out the latest and greatest from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Activision and others, five passionate gamers prepare to take over.

On Wednesday, June 17 five personalities in the video game world, in conjunction with the Entertainment Software Association, will be taking over E3's official Twitter account for an official #E3Takeover

The five participants include

Patrick Scott Patterson - This veteran gamer and gaming archivist has appeared in documentary films, television programs and live events across the country to speak on industry topics and history. He next appears in Nintendo Quest, which makes it's debut screening in Beverly Hills shortly after the E3 event.

Rachel Lara - This actress and lifelong gamer has been part of speaking engagements and panels across the country for the past several years. She has also been in a video game herself as a character model in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Her next film, Madness, explores the future of reality-based technology in gaming.

Genese Davis - Author of video game-based fiction novel The Holder's Dominion, Genese has served as a positive advocate for the video game world in dozens of live event panels across the country.

Brittney Brombacher - The power behind the popular BlondeNerd.com. Brombacher's work and coverage of the video game industry has been seen in virtually every form over the past several years in a wide variety of sources.

Paola Alejandra - This personality in the gaming industry has served as a streamer, host and sometimes cosplayer, appearing at video game and pop culture events across the country. She most recently appeared in on-camera coverage of the Evolve Proving Grounds contest.

Patterson, who worked with the ESA to assemble the team, stated that the participants were not chosen easily.

"I wanted this group to be made up of positive go-getters who put in the work, know what it means to put in the work and still somehow manage to help others while continuing to advance toward their own goals," Patterson said. "People who deserve an opportunity to stand on the same plane as the top names in the industry but just haven't had that major break just yet."

E3's official Twitter @E3 will be sharing the group's adventures using #E3Takeover starting at 10 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday, June 17.

Participants are available for press inquiries regarding the #E3Takeover in the Los Angeles area during the week of the event. Patterson is also available in his home base of North Texas just prior and just after the event.
