GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE Turns the Spotlight on Two More Cast Members!

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - July 13, 2015 - PRLog -- The GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE team has just announced two additional cast members who are joining the screwball comedy.  Vida Ghaffari, fresh from her Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance and bi-coastal acting powerhouse David Leeper will play two of the guests at the backyard gathering that goes horribly wrong when an unexpected guest shows up…with a pickaxe!

Ghaffari plays Reena, the festive, fashion-minded friend with a hilarious dark side.  “Reena’s fun,” Ghaffari says, “because one minute she’s worried about being killed and the next, she’s worried about her nails.”  Ghaffari is an Iranian-American actress who has brought her comedic chops to shows such as Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia”, FOX’s “The Mindy Project” as well as “Lovesick Fool” with Fred Willard, Lisa Kudrow, and Janeane Garofalo. “I worked with Vida on ‘Natural Born Filmmakers’ and she was a hoot,” Blair says.  “I knew I wanted to work with her again and the role of Reena seemed the perfect match for her quirky, yet glamorous, essence.”

Leeper’s character Wesley is far more focused: he just wants to survive…and snag the only available single man.  “Well, a gay man does have his priorities,” jokes Leeper.   Leeper may be less known to film and television audiences, but he is a Mac Limmoir Award nominated actor whose performance in the one man show “At the Flash” has brought audiences to their feet around the globe.  “David is a naturally vibrant and funny man,” Blair said recently, “and at the reading of GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE, he just killed it as Wesley.  I knew the role was his from that moment and that he was destined to be an audience favorite.”

GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE, a fast-paced, hilarious romp in the vein of Shaun of the Dead and Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, is set to begin preproduction this fall through Blair’s production company, PIX/SEE Productions; just days after his multi-award winning film DEADLY REVISIONS is released on 9/29/15 via SGL Entertainment.
