TouchPoint Announces Wireless Sony & VTEL PTZ Camera Control System

SAN ANTONIO - July 27, 2015 - PRLog -- TouchPoint Conferencing Technologies is now shipping an affordable wireless camera control system for the videoconferencing industry which requires no programming.  This patent pending system works in conjunction with Sony PTZ videoconferencing cameras as well as the VTEL HD3000PTZ videoconferencing camera to allow a participant in a videocall to simply tap a wireless button in order for the PTZ camera to precisely pan, tilt, and zoom to their precise location.

A videoconferencing room may be outfitted with multiple TouchPoint wireless Locator Buttons at a cost of $95 each.  The system also consists of a single TouchPoint Command Module at a cost of $995.  There is no software to install, nor are there any drivers to download.  Just plug the Command Module into an outlet and place it near your PTZ camera.  Each wireless Locator Button will summon the camera to the exact position that the user has already configured using the camera's own handheld remote control.

The Locator Buttons utilize RF technology and do not require line of sight to be operational.  Range is over 100 feet and they are powered by two internal AA batteries.
