IFTRC Awards Rohit Manchanda of Mandate Consulting with Honorary Lifetime Membership

July 27, 2015 - PRLog -- International Film & Television Research Center or IFTRC has awarded Honorary Lifetime Membership to Rohit Manchanda for his commendable contribution to the filed of media & advertising. The Research Center, a part of the Asian Academy of Film and Television, has eminent personalities like Sandeep Marwah, Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Satish Kaushik on its board of directors & advisors. IFTRC undertakes innovative research with an emphasis upon International films and television, global cinema, new media, industrial and audience analysis, and film & television history.

The felicitation was organised on July 24th, 2015 at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra Auditorium at Noida, Uttar Pradesh and the certification was handed over by Prof. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman, IFTRC, in the presence of over 300 guests.

Rohit Manchanda is a marketing-communications-advertising professional, brand consultant, film maker, media watcher and a soft skills trainer. He is the founder of Mandate Consulting, a 360 degree MarCom consulting enterprise.

Over the past 17 years, Rohit has worked with more than 300 national & international brands including World Bank Group, Haier Appliances, KPMG, ICICI, Videocon, TATA AIG, Virgin Holidays, Unilever, HCL, HDFC, SBI, Colgate Palmolive among others. Rohit has worked on branding campaigns with personalities like Amitabh Bachhan, Shahrukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Rishi Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone,Sharmila Tagore & Malaika Arora Khan.

Rohit has been the Media & Communications Advisor to India’s biggest television conglomerate- Zee Media Ltd. and an Advertising Consultant to India’s second largest print media house- Dainik Bhaskar Group. Rohit is also credited with managing, producing & marketing marqee events like ‘Doubling Food Production in 5 Years’ chaired by the H’ble President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee, ‘Zee Good Home Awards’ chaired by the then Urban Development Minister of India Shri Kamal Nath and ‘EPC World Awards’ series for past three years.

With an unmitigated interest in Broadcast Content Production, Rohit went on to produce and anchor TV shows like ‘101 Business Ideas’ and ‘Lights Camera Action’ for Zee News Network. Rohit has also been producing and anchoring ‘Alternative Budget’ series for last 7 years for various TV news stations including TV Today Group and India TV. Additionally he has also produced content for CNN IBN, NDTV, Times Now, and ABP News.

Rohit is well regarded for his passionate and charming oratory. As a trainer, Rohit’s research interests are in the areas of Group Dynamics, Communications, Team Building, Self-Effectiveness and Peak Performance. He has more than 4000 hours of training experience and has carried out training workshops as the Chief Trainer for leading corporations like Nokia, PepsiCo, Airtel, ABN Amro Bank, Bharat Electronics Ltd. and more.

Rohit has featured on various TV shows & debates on channels like NDTV, Star News, IBN 7, Aaj Tak, ET Now, Zee Business and Doordarshan. Rohit was was empanelled as a sole expert for 25 episodes in a weekly program titled ‘Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai’ on Zee News to answer viewer’s questions live.
