Guroo Active Performance Shirts – Redefining Sizing for Men’s Active Apparel

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Small, medium, and large sizes work for your morning cup of coffee, not for your performance training shirts. The Best Fitting Performance Shirt offers separate torso length and build sizing to fit the many shapes of today’s athletes.  This sizing system with 4 lengths and 4 builds is the creation of former Chicago finance guy and University of Michigan graduate, Nicholas Benson. “I often see tall men at the gym with baggy shirts to fit their long torsos and short, brawny guys with shirts that look like dresses. Guys are compromising; they end up with shirts that only fit one aspect of their physique,” says Benson.  So he decided to take the plunge into the fashion industry and create a personalized sizing system for active apparel.  This resulted in the creation of Guroo Active and the Best Fitting Performance Shirt.

After multiple rounds of prototyping, feedback from professional athletes, and careful selection of manufacturing partners, he perfected his performance shirt and completed a sample production run, which has since sold out.  To fund a full-scale production run of multiple styles, he is turning to Kickstarter to raise $15,000.

In addition to the unique sizing system, the Best Fitting Performance shirt delivers premium quality and style. Benson carefully selected world-class fabrics that provide advanced moisture wicking and down pillow softness. “Many of the early adopters from our sample run have told us it is the most comfortable shirt they own. This is the high level of quality we demand from our shirts,” says Benson. The shirts come in two styles--The Softest Tee and The Double Seam. Both feature superhero inspired contours to create a naturally tapered look that broadens the shoulders and narrows the waist.

The Best Fitting Performance Shirt is available through Kickstarter for the early bird price of $44, which is 20% below the eventual retail price of $55. Additional savings available for backers purchasing 2 or 4 shirt packs. Shirts will arrive in November.
