Free 1/2 Mile for Kids 5 and under at the 2015 Race for HOPE 10K/ 5K/ 1-Mile Run/Walk

Share HEART in Africa, Inc. will be holding its third annual  5K/10K and 1 Mile Interactive Walk on Saturday, August 29,  2015 at the beautiful Mariners Museum Park.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the children of Sierra Leone by helping Share HEART purchase school uniforms and build a library in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Share HEART in Africa recently shipped a container of backpacks, school supplies, clothes and books to Sierra Leone. There will be student backpacks available for purchase at the race. The backpacks cost $20 and contain school supplies that will be donated to students in Sierra Leone.

Race highlights include:
·  Fun, games and live entertainment for the whole family during and immediately after the race. Registration will begin at 7am and the 10K race will start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 1/2 Mile and 1-Mile fun run at 9:00 a.m. The 5k race will begin at 9:30 a.m.
·  Awards to top three finishers in each age group.
·  Each participant will receive a free T-shirt (guaranteed, if registered by August 15th)
