New 3D print lab for students in Waterloo Region

WATERLOO, Ontario - Sept. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Education is a critical building block for success, and as our world becomes more and more technology-driven, it becomes even more necessary to provide our students with opportunities to interact with cutting-edge technology. We believe 3D printing is a large component of our technology-linked future, so we have created a space to provide students with access to 3D printers so they can explore 3D printing in a practical and affordable way.

Introducing the We Are 3D Print Lab, a lab created with the students of Waterloo Region in mind, and the only 3D print lab to feature the RoVa3D-5, a first-in-class five nozzle, five material printer.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, our lab will provide students with free access to three RoVa3D-5 printers in our offices in Waterloo. Interested students will have an opportunity to use one of the printers in the lab for any school based or personal project they may be working on. We're striving to make this lab accessible to everyone, so the only cost for students is a minimal charge for the filament they use.
