Payne has been working on medical cannabis reforms for nearly a decade with various groups including Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). She attended law school in Boston, and performs legislative and policy workon behalf of patients, providers and the communities they live in.
