SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT:

The National Workplace Bullying Coalition recognizes the need to bring together legislators, academics, mental health practitioners, human resource management professionals, labor leaders, employee advocates, targets of workplace bullying and all those committed to preventing inequality and abuse in our work environments.

"Dignity has long been recognized as one of the foundations of all human rights," says Dr. Jerry Carbo, the #Dignity15 Conference Chair. "Despite this, millions of workers suffer bullying, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other forms of abusive workplace behavior that strips them of their dignity, This conference will offer a platform for those who are interested in restoring and protecting workers rights to dignity to further the discussion about what we can do to protect this right and what the role should be for labor leaders, worker advocates, HR managers and others in protecting this fundamental right."

Carbo is a founding member of the National Workplace Bullying Coalition and was recently selected to be a member of the newly formed EEOC Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace.

In 2014 we partnered with Rutgers School of Law - Newark to host a one-day conference, WORKPLACE BULLYING: Seeking Solutions, that brought together New Jersey State Senator Linda Greenstein, legal experts for both business interests and employees, labor leaders, business consultants and other interested parties. In the past 10 years, NWBC's core group have written, organized forums, participated in both national and international panels, represented clients, videotaped stories and lobbied legislators on the issue.
