Purple Pixie Studio Sprinkles a Little Magic Upon 3 Winning Graphic Illustrators

ATLANTA - Sept. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia - September 29, 2015 - Purple Pixie Studio, located in Metro Atlanta, Georgia is the innovator of the gNovel, the first digitally enhanced graphic novel available in the English language. Fusing the qualities of an eBook, a game, plus providing reader interactivity to direct the progress of the story, gNovels provide hours of entertainment per episode.

"The gNovel is designed for display on mobile devices, and our unique system will represent a breakthrough for graphic artists, authors, programmers and editors to streamline the digital graphic novel publishing process." Dr. Linda Harley, CEO of Purple Pixie Studio, explains.

During August of 2015 Purple Pixie Studio launched a contest to find professional Graphic Illustrators to produce digital sets and characters for the publication of the first gNovel. Over 200 submissions were received from artists all over the world. After a difficult selection process Purple Pixie Studio selected the following candidates:

1. Aaron Kablack of Decatur, Georgia
2. Michael Weisner of Acworth, Georgia
3. Gracie Cole of Charleston, South Carolina

Winners receive a $150 contract and will work on marketing and product illustrations for Purple Pixie Studio. Artists were chosen based upon the quality of their art including characterizations and digital set design, ability to fulfill work assignments on an ongoing basis, and prior experience.
