Sean Corr Named President Of Educational Bus

MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. - Oct. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Sean Corr, a third-generation member of one of New York State’s largest school transportation and public transit providers, has been named president of Educational Bus, which provides student transportation services to school districts in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, including Massapequa, Amityville, Wantagh, Seaford, Farmingdale, Bethpage, and South Huntington.  The announcement was made by Timothy E. Flood, executive vice president of The Trans Group, parent company of Educational Bus.

Sean Corr’s father, John Corr, Jr., is president of The Trans Group and past president of the National School Transportation Association (NSTA), a national organization dedicated to school bus safety and efficiency.  In 1952, his father, John Corr, Sr., founded the company that was to become part of The Trans Group.

“Sean Corr grew up around school buses, working on vehicles in our shops, similar to how his father started,” concluded Flood.  “He brings that familiarity, expertise, and passion to his role as president.”

In addition to his involvement with The Trans Group, Sean Corr is a past recipient of the prestigious Thomas Built Buses Continuing Education Award, an annual grant presented to an employee of a contractor company belonging to the NSTA for educational programs.
