Story of the Human Body – The storyboard art behind science televisionFrom production team notes, to initial quick sketches, to final film sequence artworks this is a small but fascinating exhibition of how art is used in science documentaries.

The artist will also be creating an installation drawing on the gallery’s chalkboard wall especially for this exhibition. So come see something a bit different this holiday season! Elizabeth Schuch has worked in theatre, film and television for over 10 years and now works independently as a storyboard artist, illustrator, and production designer in London. Her own company Melancholy Star, run with husband Konstantinos Kousoliotas, specialises in all sides of artwork and production for VFX. Schuch’s other storyboard projects have included Rise of the Continents (BBC), Curiosity: Sun Storm (Discovery), Mankind (History Channel), Supersized Earth (BBC), The British (Sky), Gettysburg (History Channel) amongst many others. The exhibition continues through December 19th, open Fridays and Saturdays 12-5pm at Grejczik Gallery, 9a Hanover Road, Scarborough, YO11 1LS.
