Author, Poet, and Former Lynyrd Skynyrd Bodyguard Gene Odom Signs With Chappell Entertainment

CASSELBERRY, Fla. - Nov. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Author, poet, and former Lynyrd Skynyrd bodyguard Gene Odom has signed with Chappell Entertainment to represent his intellectual property including book, film, and television rights.

Gene Odom details his childhood memories shared with best friend and Lynyrd Skynyrd vocalist Ronnie Van Zant in his book entitled, Lynyrd Skynyrd: I’ll Never Forget You. The former bodyguard of the band Lynyrd Skynyrd survived the plane crash in 1977 that claimed the lives of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Dean Kilpatrick, Walter McCreary, and William Gray.

Mr. Odom’s selection of Chappell Entertainment came natural as Chappell Entertainment has been a staple in the southern rock world for many years. Chappell has many projects in the works including a major motion picture deal based on Odom’s book.
