Follow on Google News | Early Learning Coalition of SWFL Welcomes Three New Board MembersBy: Early Learning Coalition Joseph Pepe, Ed.D., is the interim health department administrator for Hendry and Glades counties and a professor at Barry University. He has also served as the executive vice president of administration at Hodges University. He says, “It is my personal belief that a better educated and healthier community will be happier and more productive.” John Ahern is the chairman of the Glades County Board of County Commissioners for District 4. He also spent 28 years in Moore Haven city government. Maureen Ungarean, Ed.D., is the director of early learning with Collier County Public Schools. She has 20 years of experience in the field of education.
