HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Nov. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Angelina Bennett Foxworth played by Donna Spangler is the glamorous Fashion Designer ex-wife of James Bennett Foxworth played by Veteran actor Vincent De Paul from John Waters' Hairspray (1988)  a 2015 Emmy winning Producer and Actor, (“The Bay” the series) and former International Versace model. Together they have a spoiled fashion-obsessed 14 year old teenage daughter called Ravin played by (Ravin Spangler) who spends her life in the mirror making sure she is, just like every teen, up-to-the minute fashion-wise….. that is until Ravin meets Jerry played by Brandon Tyler Russel (Martial Arts Kid & Smitty) and love blossoms…but a sudden twist of fate means that Ravin will soon have no option but to adjust her way of thinking. A Beverly Hills Christmas is a beautiful inspirational film about  hope, love, Burger King and fashion! Directed by Brian Skiba, Produced by Donna Spangler and lensed by Christian Filippella the film was shot on location in Beverly Hills, CA. Vincent De Paul plays the husband and father, co-starring alongside Arc Angel Gabriel, played by Dean Cain and screen daughter Ravin Spangler makes her screen debut – as Ravin.  With a happy traditional message of positivity the film’s theme is a cross between "Scrooge" and "It’s a Wonderful Life."  Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) Kirsten Lea (Walk a Mile in My Pradas) John Savage (HAIR) and Ravin’s little doggy Bunny create havoc but like Romeo and Juliette, when two star-crossed lovers meet, a magical message prevails.

“This is THE Christmas Movie that just had to be made”! Says Donna Spangler, the film’s Producer.  “Beverly Hills Christmas evolved as a small indie film with an enthusiastic cast and crew which grew in stature almost magically. At first we did not know if we were going to be able to pull it off - we had so many hurdles to overcome" she said  "But we also had so much support from the Hollywood Presbyterian Church who's members and clergy put up with our hectic filming schedule. They run an actual soup kitchen there. As if by magic when we put the word out, many groups of individuals rallied around the project and friends and family contributed time , money and resources. This turned it into a true “Family and Friends” movie with Dean Cain's son who was in the film as well as several members of the Spangler clan and veteran director Brian Skiba's  family all working together.  The movie sets out to show true heartfelt feelings rather than some of the more commercial films which show violence and deprecation of mankind.  Everyone had faith in the little film and the actors outperformed themselves.” First time actress Ravin Spangler Donna’s daughter who plays Ravin had people on set crying from her stellar performance – and a Star was born! " The overall message delivered by the movie is profound showing the audience what is really important in life" says Spangler  “ It seems that there was a force greater than ours wanting the film to be made and in the end ….a faith-based channel picked it up just in time for Christmas!

FASHION TIT BIT "What would Clueless look like if it were made in 2015?" – here’s your answer!– Mona May is the iconic Costume Designer behind the wardrobe style of Beverly Hills Christmas.  May is famous for designing outfits for the movie Enchanted (2007) starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey and best well known for her iconic work on Clueless (1995) with Alicia Silverstone and 25 years later it’s so great to see her 2015 interpretation with Raven Spangler  and friends.  Many teens found  style inspiration and editorialized their look based on the fashion of Costume Designer Mona May for Clueless.  This year those long awaited retro looks will be featured again in a fun and  heartfelt teen romp - so expect to see lots of plaids and pearls!  In fact, there’s a strong theme of Fashion throughout the movie, (Angelina is a Fashion Designer) and there’s even a cameo appearance Designer by “Next Top Model” and former employer of Tyra Banks, world renowned fashion designer Sue Wong who’s 2016 collection also appears in the movie.
