The Christmas market is open every day from Friday, November 20 until Wednesday, December 23. The GACC-CO estimates this year’s event will draw somewhere around 175,000 market goers.

Located at 16^th Street and Arapahoe Street, Denver, Colorado – Skyline Park – the 34-day event features authentic German cuisine, entertainment each Friday through Sunday and local, national and international artisans’ finest products in an old-world market setting.

“The Denver Christkindl Market is a favorite holiday tradition of local communities and visitors across the country,” said Natalia Wobst, Executive Director, German American Chamber of Commerce. “With more than 40 vendors and dozens of entertainers from across the state of Colorado bringing the sounds of the season and traditional German folk music and delicious food and drink, there is nothing like our Denver Market in Colorado. Without sponsors like Holland & Hart, Kärcher, Coan, Payton and Payne and Paulaner, the GACC-CO would not be able to bring this wonderful tradition to Denver for the 15th year!”

Event schedule includes:

·      Friday, Dec. 4: Cherry Creek High School performs at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

·      St. Nikolaus Day Celebrations, Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6: St. Nikolaus appears at the Market, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

·      Saturday, Dec. 12: Wheat Ridge High School performs at 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

·       Saturday, Dec. 19 & 20: The Colorado Chorale and the Christmas carolers will perform at 12:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., respectively.

·      Give-Aways- Traditional Advent Calendar, Dec. 1through Dec. 23: 7-foot advent calendar with 23 days of vendor gifts for market goers. Pick up free tickets inside the Holiday Tent. Winners will be announced each day at 12 p.m.
