Russian National Airline Aeroflot Signs Agreement with DohopBy: Dohop Aeroflot, Russia’s largest airline, has joined forces with Dohop.com, an Icelandic flight metasearch company. The agreement will allow travelers to search Aeroflot’s 119 destinations around the world on Dohop.com and finalize the booking directly on the airline’s website. “We have been working with Aeroflot for a while now to make sure we have a cooperation that both parties are happy with, and I think we have achieved that. Our goal is to have direct relationships with as many airlines as possible, since our customers always prefer to book directly on the airline website,” says David Gunnarsson, Dohop CEO. Earlier this year, Dohop initiated cooperation with Russia’s largest search company, Yandex. According to the agreement, Dohop provides flight content to Yandex.Avia in Russia and Turkey. This content is in addition to Yandex’s own search results, giving Yandex users more unique content and options to choose from when searching for flights. About Dohop Since its launch in 2005, Dohop has provided travellers with a global flight search engine, where users can find the cheapest flights from a range of airlines and online travel agencies (OTA) with just one click.
