Collins Einhorn Farrell welcomes Karen Geibel to its General & Automotive Liability Practice Group

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Dec. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Collins Einhorn Farrell PC is pleased to announce that attorney Karen R. Geibel has joined the firm’s General and Automotive Liability practice group. Geibel will focus her practice on the defense of general and automobile litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Staff Attorney to the Honorable Rudy Nichols (retired) and the Honorable Dennis Drury (retired) in the Oakland County Circuit Court for over a decade. Her main job responsibilities involved researching legal issues, writing opinions, conducting settlement conferences and managing litigation in a general jurisdiction court. Geibel also previously practiced insurance defense at a private firm and served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Oakland County Circuit Court while attending law school.

Geibel received a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 1994 and went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001.

Geibel is involved with a number of organizations. She is active with the Oakland County Bar Association, serving on the OCBA Circuit Court Committee. Geibel is also a fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation and a member of the Michigan Center for Civic Education and the State Bar of Michigan.

Active in the community, Geibel is a volunteer Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan’s annual High School Mock Trial Tournament. She also assists students during a mock trial for Constitutional Day at the Oakland County Circuit Court. Geibel is a Catechist at St. Kieran church, is active in the Rochester Junior Woman’s Club and a Board member for the Romeo Girls Softball league where she serves as both Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer.
