Follow on Google News | Georgia RB Carl White III Excites at Elite Junior Classic ShowcaseRunning Back leaving no doubt he is one of best in Georgia's 2017 recruiting class.
By: D1SPORTS Displaying his versatility in the running back drills with fluid agility and footwork, White was very impressive. White was very smooth out the backfield with great vision and his quickness and cutting ability on defenders was unmatched for any linebacker to even stay close in one on ones. White also displayed excellent hands and route running. His 4.6 forty in the chilly, 32 degree weather reinforces his 4.53 he ran last summer. There is no doubt White's versatility will give college coaches plenty of choices on how to get him the ball at the next level. This season White amassed over 800 All-Purpose Yards on just over ten touches a game, through rushing, passes out the backfield and returning kicks─ all on a team loaded with talent led by Coach Stanley Pritchett, including senior 3 star Malick Mbodj a UCF commit, uncommitted senior Giovanni Rene and uncommitted senior playmaker Marcus Gay along with junior all region and county, Terray Bryant a scrappy linebacker who will no doubt play safety or corner at the next level. White seems happy with his accomplishments thus far but surely wants more, "I'm just working hard and trying to stay focused for my senior year. Playing for a coach that has played in the NFL has been an asset, so I try to listen to Coach and soak up all his words of wisdom to help us get better." At the moment White is not rushing the recruiting process. Already with a few college visits under his belt and carrying a 3.4 G.P.A. White's recruiting plans are also to visit Tulane, UAB, Georgia Tech, Penn, Bucknell and a few others. http://www.hudl.com/ CRIS JONES D1SPORTS End
