CUE Financial Group Advisor Jeff Murphy Named 2016 Los Angeles Five Star Wealth Manager

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Jeff Murphy of Woodland Hills has been named for the third straight year as a recipient of the Los Angeles Five Star Wealth Managers award. The 2016 award winners appear in a special section in the January issue of Los Angeles magazine.

Five Star Professional has partnered with Los Angeles magazine in each of the last several years to find wealth managers who satisfy 10 objective criteria associated with wealth managers who provide quality services to their clients. Wealth managers making the list are a select group, representing less than 2 percent of the wealth managers in the Los Angeles area.

“Making the list for three consecutive years is really a testament to the companies I work with and the organizations supporting me from behind the scenes,” said Murphy. “I’m very fortunate to be aligned with both CUE and Foothill, and I feel my clients are, too.”

Award candidates are identified by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. Self-nominations are not accepted. Eligibility and evaluation criteria include:

·         Credentialed as an investment advisory representative or registered investment advisor;

·         Credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of five years;

·         Favorable regulatory and complaint history review;

·         One-year and five-year client retention rates;

·         Non-institutionalized client assets administered;

·         Number of client households served;

·         Education and professional designations.

For the 2016 awards, 2,374 candidates in the Los Angeles area were considered. Ultimately, only 298 were named 2016 Five Star Wealth Managers.
