LOS ANGELES - Dec. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- The 48FILM Project is honored to welcome the participation of HRH Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark for the 2015 Jury.

The 48FILM Project short film competition made headlines earlier this FALL by announcing the Grand Prize of $100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars, USD) production budget to film a feature film.

HRH Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark also known under her stage name Theodora Greece is an award winning actress and philanthropist. She is the younger daughter and fourth child of former King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie.

The Princess attended Woldingham School in Surrey, England. From there she moved to the United States to study at Northeastern University followed by a BA in Theatre Arts from Brown University in Boston.

At present HRH Princess Theodora is based in Los Angeles where she works as an actor on BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. Currently she has a small supporting role in LITTLE BOY and will be seen next in the thriller JUNE. Staying close to her theatrical roots is in important to her and very involved in the productions by the Renegade Theater most recently assistant directing THE GLASS MENAGERIE.

Following in her family’s footsteps HRH Princess Theodora gives a lot of her time to The Anna-Maria Foundation, which provides disaster relief in Greece and sits on the board of the Deane F. Johnson Alzheimer's Research Foundation.

An award winning actress, who understands the work that goes into the craft of acting, HRH Princess Theodora will be instrumental in selecting the 2015 48FILM Project winners.  Winning films will be screened at the 2015 award ceremony in Los Angeles, California on February 9, 2016 at the Director’s Guild of America.

The 48FILM Project online festival is open to everyone: beginner to professional, from all nations.  Once registered, a competing team selects a genre and importantly: when they want to start the clock. 48FILM Project provides three (3) elements that are required to be included: a character, a line and a prop. Filmmakers then have forty eight (48) hours to create a short film in English or with English subtitles, four (4) to seven (7) minutes in length and upload it to https://www.48filmproject.com/competition/2015/register. Creators retain the rights to their own intellectual property.
