They are the men and women that have served in either an active duty capacity or reserve and have witnessed war, have served during quieter times and have answered the call of the United States and its citizens whenever freedom was threatened or when an ally was in need of assistance in the defense of their freedoms.

A veteran was drafted but was also a volunteer. They raised their right hands and swore an oath to the Constitution Of The United States. They were trained for a variety of occupations within the United States military each being a vital role to the function of a well oiled and running military. They went when called. They did what was asked. They gave more than they took and no matter the issue or situation they did what was needed to succeed. They are our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts and uncles. They are our US veterans.
