PRLog -- After serving in an interim capacity,
Kristen Barrett has been appointed CEO of Promise Hospital of Overland Park (PHOP) and Promise Skilled Nursing Facility of Overland Park (PSNFOP) that share a healthcare campus with entrances respectively at 6509 and 6505 at West 103
rd Street. Prior to her interim position, Barrett served as Campus Director of Quality Management following tenures as PHOP Regional Director of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
In her new position, Barrett serves as the official representative of the Governing Board for both facilities, responsible for all strategic and operational functions of the 19,852-square-
foot Promise Hospital of Overland Park with 56 licensed beds served by 114 employees and the 23,525-square-
foot Promise Skilled Nursing Facility of Overland Park with 52 licensed beds served by 57 employees. Leading the facility senior management team, she is responsible for developing and implementing the mission and vision of the facility and has responsibility for meeting the goals and objectives of the facility, including all operational, financial (budget) and quality indicators. Additionally Barrett is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Promise brand, developing and maintaining positive physician relationships and developing and maintaining positive relationships with the leadership teams of all referral source facilities.

Prior to joining Promise,
Barrett held positions as interim CEO and Director of Quality and Risk Management for HealthSouth’s Mid American Rehabilitation Hospital.
