I believe the SafeBreak IV is going to save nurses time, hospitals money and improve delivery of healthcare to patients,” Clement said. I believe that the SafeBreak will significantly reduce how often IV pull-out occurs. I look forward to perfecting the product’s design, quality and manufacturing,” ABOUT LINEGARD MED LineGard Med is the developer of a unique patented break-away technology that works with all types of medical tubing. The break-away feature helps prevent the dislodgement or pull-out of feeding tubes, IV lines, urinary catheters and any other type of medical tubing by breaking into two pieces and protecting the patient’s tube/catheter insertion site. The company’s first product, SafeBreak IV fits into any standard IV tubing and will help prevent IV pull-outs, which occur millions of times a year in the United States.
