Millennial Yoga Event Celebrates Brooklyn Wellness Program with Eddie Stern, DHerbs and others!

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - March 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Find your zen place On Marh 8, 2016 at 5:00 PM, as the Urban Yogi's kickoff a Yoga and Wellness Series with a few friends and media to help spread the word!


The Sonima Health and Wellness Leadership Program is a two year fellowship focused on leadership development through Yoga-based exercises, Mindfulness and Wellness in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant. Celebrating it's fifth year, the inagural graduates are now national teachers and advocates joining the stage with Deepak Chopra, Spike Lee, Russell Simmons and many others to champion this program.

When A.D. Dolphin, renowned herbologist and owner of DHerbs.com (#1 Cleansing company for over 10 years) heard about the Sonima Foundation's Program, he couldn't leave New York without meeting these phenomenal young adults. Currently on his "Spring Cleaning Tour”, he is stopping in to discuss his raw food regimen, affordable options for healthier eating and tools for cleansing all of the toxins, eliminative channels, loosing and maintaining weight with these dynamic millennials.

Moreover, as a multimillionaire with high profile celebrityclientele such as Talk Show Host/Comedian Steve Harvey, Emmy Award-Winning Actress Niecy Nash, Grammy Award-Winning Singer Brandy and Actors Sherri Shepherd and Anthony Anderson, to name a few, A. D. wants to share his journey from international basketball player to business leader with this next generation to take the wellness platform by storm. He joins them in kicking off the mixer series at a private Brooklyn studio.

ABOUT THE SONIMA LEADERSHIP AND WELLNESS FELLOWSHIP

These young men and women have spent the past years engaging in community activism, which has included learning the transformative tools of yoga and meditation. Inspired by their experiences, they have created an initiative to bring these tools to their community training and passes the baton to other 18-24 year olds in a two year fellowship.

The 2016 candidates practice weekly in Bedford Stuyvesant and benefit deeply from the wellness and business experts that stop in to join a free yoga session and share their knowledgebase. The innovative program is guided in New York by wellness leader, and Program Coordinator, Pastor NaRon D. Tillman and the renowned yoga teachings of Eddie Stern (Ashtanga Yoga/Brooklyn Yoga Club, One World Yogis, with Deepak Chopra and Eddie).
