PantryChic™ Showcased in the Inventors Corner at the 2016 International Home + Housewares Show®

CHICAGO - March 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Nik of Time, Inc. the maker of the PantryChic™ Store & Dispense System™ will be unveiling their second generation PantryChic™ System prototype and "Recipe Walk Through" App design in the Inventors Corner at the International Home + Housewares Show 2016, March 5-8 2016, at McCormick Place Exposition Center in Chicago (Booth #N7366).

With its sleek contemporary design and technological innovation the PantryChic™ Store & Dispense System™ simplifies recipe preparation. By automatically dispensing the perfect amount of each ingredient directly from SmartCanisters™, kitchen enthusiasts at every skill level will be able to perfect recipes in less time with less mess. The new design takes the user experience a step further with the integration of Bluetooth® technology that allows the system to wirelessly communicate with your tablet or smartphone enabling bakers and foodies alike to expand their repertoire with professional results every time.

Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows the system to automatically recognize the PantryChic™ SmartCanisters™ which are programmed to dispense over 50 ingredients. You simply place a SmartCanister™ on the base unit, enter your desired ingredient quantity or allow your recipe to communicate it from your tablet and this ingenious tool converts volume to weight and dispenses directly into your mixing bowl with the press of a button. The Auto ID function will help turn your kitchen into a “smart kitchen” by tracking ingredient quantities, shelf life and expiration dates prompting you to reorder or refill ingredients that are running low or about to expire which will tie nicely into online grocery and auto-replishment services.

The design for the first PantryChic™ App is near completion and facilitates what PantryChic™ inventor and Nik of Time, Inc. founder Nicole Lee calls the “Recipe Walk Through.” The App will guide or “walk” users through recipes leveraging the auto-dispensing capabilities of the PantryChic™ system. It will also allow users to scale recipes up or down, keep track of recipe usage and suggest new recipes based on user preferences and history, expanding the horizon for traditional bakers and millennials alike. Users who are mindful of their nutrition or have dietary restrictions such as diabetes or gluten allergy will be able to customize and store mixes for future use or choose substitution options provided in several recipes. Because of this, the system has received strong interest from nutritionists and dietitians who develop recipes for special diets, and can use the system to assist in counting calories and portion control.

The PantryChic™ System is priced at $199.95 including an App enabled base unit with a multifunctional digital scale and three airtight ingredient SmartCanisters™. SmartCanisters™ come in 3 sizes: large (holds a 5lb bag of flour), medium and a small dual canister housing two ingredients and the company plans to launch additional specialty canisters and accessories.
