Selevision chooses Squadeo's Video Player

PARIS - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Squadeo, a global provider of secure cross-platform OTT video solutions to the Broadcast- and TV-industry, has been chosen as supplier by Selevision, the leading technology and service provider for the global broadcast industry and the multi-platform entertainment company in the Middle East and North Africa, to power the video play-out on mobile, laptops and set-top box devices in the United Arab Emirates for its Entertainment service aptly called Seevii.

The service is delivered via different HEVC-based set-top boxes, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets in addition to a web portal, enabling users to seamlessly consume broadcast video, VOD and DVR content on additional screens anywhere and at any time.

Squadeo was chosen due to its strong video player expertise resulting into elegant and market-fit video solutions for Android, iOS and Web for PC and Mac, providing a player product that is secure, robust and with differentiating features like fixing device issues remotely from the cloud and YouTube-like scrubbing experience.
