Comedian Vladimir Caamano to Perform Three Nights, Four Shows August 4-6

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - June 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Comedian Vladimir Caamano will perform at COMIX Mohegan Sun for a three-night, four-performance event August 4-6 with shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., ending with a special "Nasty Show" Saturday at 10:30 p.m.

With the name "Vladimir," few people expect a Dominican from The Bronx to take the stage. His comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit and intellect. He began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of The Bronx and Washington Heights and after graduating from Wesleyan University launched into Standup Comedy. In 2015 Vladimir shot onto the scene with an impressive showing at the JUST FOR LAUGHS festival in Montreal. He was the only one of his New Face class to be chosen to perform as part of the CW GALA hosted by Howie Mandel. Vlad used his performances to come away with a development deal with Warner Bros television to produce a sitcom about his life. Teamed up with Bill Lawrence the duo co-created A BRONX LIFE for NBC Network.

In addition to his success in development, Vladimir made his COMEDY CENTRAL debut in 2016 performing on ADAM DEVINE'S HOUSE PARTY. He also appeared on GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE for AXS TV. Vladimir enjoyed digital success in 2015 with the series UNMOVERS for CABLEVISION. The series' success also launched a popular national commercial campaign.

Vladimir tours nationally and is a regular in the New York scene performing at THE STAND, GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB, NEW YORK COMEDY CLUB, and the COMIC STRIP LIVE. He is also a DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP Winner at THE PEOPLE'S IMPROV THEATER where he is also taking writing courses.
