LOS ANGELES - Aug. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Supernatural star Ruth Connell is the latest surprise cast member to sign on to appear in the George Clooney-inspired indie romantic comedy For The Love Of George. Perhaps best known for her role as Rowena on the long-running hit CW television series, Connell is set to begin shooting her scenes in Los Angeles on August 24, 2016.

For The Love Of George follows the plight of a jilted British wife who comes to Los Angeles, after discovering her husband cheating on her, with the fantasy of meeting her ultimate dream man - George Clooney! Through a funny series of adventures and near misses, she comes to learn that her destiny is in herself, not in any man, no matter how seemingly perfect.

Star Trek's own Marina Sirtis, who starred as Counselor Deanna Troi in a host of Star Trek feature films and television series including Star Trek: Continues, Star Trek: The Next Generation (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092455?ref_=nmbio_mbio), Star Trek: Generations (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111280?ref_=nmbio_mbio), Star Trek: First Contact (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117731?ref_=nmbio_mbio), Star Trek: Insurrection (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120844?ref_=nmbio_mbio) and Star Trek: Nemesis (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0253754?ref_=nmbio_mbio), also recently joined the star-studded For The Love Of George cast.

Tate Donovan (Argo, Damages), Rex Lee (Entourage, Fresh Off The Boat), Shaun Sipos (Final Destination 2, Vampire Diaries), Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock From The Sun) and Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, Desperately Seeking Susan) are also among the star power appearing opposite lead Nadia Jordan; who is also producing the film which she co-wrote with Hayley Nolan.  Director is Maria Burton (A Sort of Homecoming) while Arlene Nelson (A Mighty Wind)is the cinematographer.

"We are thrilled to have Ruth Connell and Marina Sirtis on board for this smart and sassy film. Both dynamic actresses, each brings another wonderfully entertaining, endearing and highly-memorable character to the story. For The Love Of George definitely has

out-of-this-world talent in front of and behind the cameras," remarked Jordan. "Now if only we had a superpower to secure an appearance by the most jaw-dropping name of all, whose initials are GC!."

"It is such fun," continued Jordan. "You can't be on the set without smiling or laughing. I can't wait to spread the joy and be able to share the experience that is For The Love Of George with audiences worldwide when the film is released. "

Something that would also have people everywhere smiling, laughing and perhaps shedding tears of joy?  If the one and only George Clooney signs on for a cameo!

A portion of the proceeds generated by For The Love Of Georgewill also be donated to the Enough Project (www.enoughproject.org), which George Clooney is associated with and is referenced to during a scene in the film.

Stay tuned…
