SAN DIEGO - Aug. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- BattleFrog Series (www.battlefrogseries.com) is proud to announce their upcoming race in Southern California on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at Moto Ventures in Anza, California. This event continues the trend of westward expansion for the BattleFrog Series and will consist of a series of military-inspired fitness exercises with a California theme. This year's event will be designed to test the mental and physical fortitude for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Within the first year of holding events in California, BattleFrog has been lauded by participants and insiders alike for making the most use of the venue. BattleFrog Series has excelled in making the sandy trails as challenging and fun as any other terrain. Through the quality and distribution of obstacles, BattleFrog is rising as one of the best obstacle course racing events along the Pacific Ocean. "The course will test your ability to handle technical terrain, rolling hills, and top tier obstacles," explained Christopher Acord, Race Designer for the Southern California event. "SoCal is the perfect mix for those who can marry their skills to handle the landscape that depicts the heart of Southern California with that of running and upper body strength. Don't let the hills and sand fool you. This will test you but leave you smiling."

BattleFrog is continuing to provide differentiation for both first time runners and endurance buffs who are well-versed in OCR. In doing so, they've created an experience that is both unique and challenging for all ages and skill levels. For nearly every obstacle, there are three different difficulty lanes: novice, intermediate, and elite. This gives racers the option to adjust the intensity of their adventure on an obstacle-by-obstacle basis. Overall, The BattleFrog Southern California event will host five options, including the BattleFrog Xtreme (BFX) and BattleFrog Elite 16 KM event, The Signature 8KM race for athletes and families, as well as the 400m Tadpole Dash for children ages 4 to 8 and the BullFrog Mile for ages 8-13.

For those wishing to observe the action and offer support, spectator passes for both adults and children are available. There is also the option to volunteer and help the staff and participants with running the race. Read more about preparing for a BattleFrog event by downloading the Official Online Race Guide here.

BattleFrog is also looking for new BattleFrog Ambassadors to represent the brand and receive special perks to enhance the experience. BattleFrog Ambassadors receive their own unique promo code which they can share with their friends and family to save $20 off all adult tickets and earn special rewards for themselves, including free races and gear.
