ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS:

Brian Schrader, Esq., a founder and the CEO of Business Intelligence Associates, Inc., has over 20 years of experience in eDiscovery, computer forensics, information governance, technology and the law. A true pioneer and nationally respected expert in those fields, Brian also spent well over a decade of that time teaching, lecturing and participating in numerous industry panels across the country on those topics and more. Prior to founding BIA, Brian started and operated several technology companies and practiced securities and corporate litigation at a Manhattan law firm. He has been engaged as an expert in hundreds of matters including some especially high profile matters like the NBCU/Comcast Merger, the Jeffery Skilling Enron criminal trial, the American Express & Discover antitrust lawsuits against MasterCard & Visa, and the American Home Mortgage bankruptcy. He holds a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and other professional and philanthropic organizations. He is admitted to the New York State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Barry Schwartz, Esq., CEDS has over 35 years of legal and business consulting experience. He has extensive knowledge of the medical device and industrial industries, including practical experience with FDA matters. As a client-facing BIA Advisor, he is primarily responsible for providing consulting and advisory services to BIA's clients. He adds a critical component to client projects, guiding them at a high level, and working with senior members of client internal and external teams to achieve specified project goals. As part of BIA's Advisory Team, he assists clients in a wide variety of Information Management practice areas, including litigation & discovery, document retention & management, regulatory compliance, and IT security. He is highly proficient in discovery and document review matters and has been issued two patents. Barry is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS), holds a JD from John Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, and is a member of the DC Bar.
