Overkill to Play Worcester's Palladium with Special Guests Nile, Swarm of Eyes, and More

WORCESTER, Mass. - Dec. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- New England-based metal band, Swarm of Eyes, will join thrash metal legends Overkill, with Nile and several other special guests, for a massive live show at Worcester's Palladium on Friday March 10th, 2017. The super-sized show features bands on two stages – spanning the full spectrum of metal genres, from thrash to doom to darkest death.

Overkill is embarking on a headlining tour to support of their 18^th album, The Grinding Wheel, scheduled for a February 2017 release on Nuclear Blast. The Grinding Wheel follows on the heels of 2014's White Devil Armory, which became the venerable metal band's most critically- and commercially-successful album to date, reaching #31 on the Billboard 200.

"As a baby headbanger, Overkill's Horrroscope blew my mind and was a huge influence, turning me into a lifelong fan," said Swarm of Eyes guitarist George O'Connor. "So, to play on the same stage with them is mind blowing. I can't wait for this gig!"

As special guests on the epic bill, Swarm of Eyes will dust off old favorites from their debut album and blast the audience with fresh cuts from their upcoming EP, We Go to War With the Weapons We Have, scheduled for release in January 2017.

"Swarm of Eyes' sound straddles the line between thrash and death metal, so joining a bill with legendary thrashers Overkill, and death metal juggernauts Nile, just works so perfectly for us," added Randy Carter, vocalist for Swarm of Eyes.

In addition to Overkill and Egyptian-inspired death metal icons Nile, Swarm of Eyes will play the Palladium alongside local New England favorites, Texas Death Match, Garroted, Disguise the Curse, Strangler Needs a Manicure, and Graviton.

Fans of all ages can come out to see Overkill, Nile, Swarm of Eyes and a bevy of brutal bands tear it up onstage at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts on Friday March 10^th.
