Goods Affected by the 25% Tariffs on $50 Billion Imported Chinese Products

 
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - June 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Tariff - a tax or duty to be paid on a particular class of imports or exports.

A 25% tariff on $50 billion of imported Chinese products was set for implementation last Friday June 15, 2018. The new list of tariffs will touch roughly $16 billion in imported products from China in conjunction with the previous $34 billion list. The new list will be reviewed further and include public hearings.

Approximately 1,300 import products will be affected by the tariffs. This product list focuses on industrial segments including aerospace, automobiles, industrial machinery, robotics and information technology.

The specific commodity list exposed to the tariffs are included in chapters 27, 28, 34, 38, 39, 40, 70, 73, 76, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, and 90.
