Lonnie Spiker To Be Inducted Into The Independent Country Music Hall of Fame!

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. - Sept. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- The Independent Country Music Hall of Fame that honors those in the Independent Traditional Country Music industry has selected Lonnie Spiker as the 2019 inductee. Lonnie will be inducted during Josie Music Awards Event at Dollywood inside the DP Celebrity Theater on Saturday, September 21, 2019, by the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame owners Josie Passantino and Tinamarie Passantino.

Multi-award winning Singer/Songwriter and Bandleader Lonnie Spiker is the face of Texas-style country music in Nashville, Tennessee. He commands an incredible ability to weave honky tonk, western swing, and straight-up country music into a unique and instantly recognizable style. Growing up in Pennsylvania Coal Country, Lonnie had an AM Radio that would pick up distant stations at night. There he discovered Texas Honky Tonk Stations playing Johnny Bush, Ray Price, Mickey Gilley, Gary Stewart and many more of his heroes. These artists left an indelible mark on an impressionable youngster with a guitar. Deciding that Nashville was where he needed to be Lonnie packed up his life and his family and made the move to Music City. He spent the next several years on Broadway honing his craft as a bass player, guitarist, and singer and spending many more years writing with hit songwriters. Lonnie has taken all he has learned and fused it to create a unique and original sound that is fresh and exciting.
