Follow on Google News | Local Cultural Council Holds Q&A Night for Grant Applicants on October 23By: Haverhiill Cultural Council As part of the application process, the Haverhill Cultural Council will hold a Question and Answer Night on Wednesday, October 23 at 7pm at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome Street, where Council members can request more information, or documents supporting individual applications. "This is a very important meeting where the council members have reviewed all the submitted applications and then ask questions to gain clarity or identify missing elements from the applications. In fact, it is so important to our process that the Council awards 5 points toward the overall evaluation, graded on a 100-point scale, for each applicant that shows up in person or sends a knowledgeable proxy. Our goal with this meeting is to give every applicant a final chance to provide the information we need to consider his or her application." The Haverhill Cultural Council is also in search of new members to help make our 2019-2020 grant season and upcoming events a success. To become a member, interested individuals can send a letter of interest to Mayor Fiorentini at Haverhill City Hall. Mayor James J. Fiorentini appoints council members who serve a term of 3 years.
