Kim Vogel awarded the 'Excellence in Finance - Leaders' award at FiNext Conference Orlando 2019

ORLANDO, Fla. - Sept. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- Kim Vogel was awarded the Excellence in Finance - Leaders award for their significant contribution towards the financial sector at FiNext Conference 2019, held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Orlando, Florida.

Kim Vogel earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Ms. Vogel is currently the President, Co-Founder  and Board Director of Base Venture, an award-winning software company that develops innovative solutions in the areas of financial reporting, data visualization, and process management. Kim is a serial technology entrepreneur and senior executive with more than 30 years of experience helping companies introduce revolutionary technologies and scale their businesses. Prior to co-founding BaseVenture, Kim served as CFO of mFoundry, the industry pioneer and leader in mobile banking & payment solutions, which was sold to FIS in 2013, as well as CFO at a number of other high growth Bay Area companies.

Earlier in her career, Kim worked in investment banking focusing on the technology industry with Montgomery Securities and as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. Kim is a former professor at Saint Mary's College where she taught accounting and business classes in the undergraduate and MBA programs and currently serves on the Board of Trustees. Kim was named one of the "Most Influential Women in Business 2019" by the San Francisco Business Times. Kim lives with her husband, 16 year old daughter and a 5 year old son in Lafayette, CA.
