Jeff Porcaro book being written by Robyn Flans

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Entertainment journalist Robyn Flans recently announced that she been working on a biography on the late great session drummer and founding member of the Grammy winning band Toto, Jeff Porcaro.
Porcaro worked with such artists as Barbra Streisand, Seals & Crofts, Sonny & Cher, David Benoit, Steely Dan, Tommy Bolin, Warren Zevon, Boz Scaggs, Bruce Springsteen and a long list.
Sanctioned by his family and band members, the book covers Porcaro's childhood and musical experiences with first-hand interviews with him before his untimely passing in 1992. Flans interviewed Porcaro many times while she worked as a freelance writer for Modern Drummer Magazine. She has also worked for such publications as People, In Touch, Mix, Country Weekly and numerous others.
Besides family and Toto members, there are many interviews with notable artists with whom Porcaro worked and an abundance of great stories.
