Multi-Talented Poet LaVette Cherie Selects SPMG Media as Agency of Record

Born in Sidney, Ohio and currently residing in Long Beach, LaVette Cherie is a Poet, Actress, Writer and Elocutionist. Cherie is known as one of Z Publishing's "Best Emerging Poets". She has been writing poetry her entire life, starting in kindergarten. After a life-altering event threatened her sanity, Cherie's poetry took on a depth and clarity that not only touched other's hearts but helped her uncover the depths of truth that resonates long and strong with her fans.

Cherie artistic expression has forged a new genre of poetic delivery that encompasses lyrical emotions cocooned in the breezy backdrop of either jazz, hip hop or neo-soul.

LaVette has appeared as an actress in several theater performances, including starring in the lead role of Johnny Cox's "Beautiful Poison" and an upcoming television project "Royal Flush" by director Aaron Lucas. She has also appeared in local productions and events, spreading love through her poetry.

LaVette has several new projects for 2020. Her first two singles, " Butterfly " and "Brown Shoe Daddy" dropped this past summer. Look for the album release in March 2020. Her work embodies love, passion and healing. All of which exuded from within her soul.
