Advanced Eye Care Welcomes Aaron Stephenson, O.D

AMARILLO, Texas - Dec. 23, 2019 - PRLog -- Advanced Eye Care is proud to announce and welcome Aaron Stephenson, O.D. to their practice. Dr. Stephenson will be seeing and accepting new patients at the Canyon location starting in January 2020.

"We are excited to announce the arrival of Aaron Stephenson, O.D. to our Advanced Eye Care Canyon family.  We celebrate the wonderful career of Dr. Bill serving the eye care needs of Canyon for over 40 years by continuing his high standard of care and compassion for his patients," said Dr. Kevin Appel. "It is in this tradition that Dr. Stephenson hopes to meet and exceed your expectations in his delivery of patient care with a warm and caring attitude."

Dr. Stephenson grew up in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by a loving and caring family.  Early in his life, he was influenced by the example of his father, Kenneth Stephenson, M.D., to pursue a career helping the medical needs of others. Dr. Stephenson graduated Magna Cum Laude at Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Stephenson went on to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry and received his Doctorate of Optometry in May of 2018.  After graduation, he chose to further his education by completing his Optometric Residency in ocular disease/pathology and pre/post-operative care at the Eye Center of Texas in Houston.
