Uncle Win's Music Productions, Inc. Releases its New Album: "Standing for the People"

GIBSONTON, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Win Thompkins, the widely known former gospel singer, has now focused his substantial talents and launched "Standing for the People", his newest album, expertly produced by Uncle Win's Music Productions, Inc., of Gibsonton, Florida.  On the 15 tracks of this album, Thompkins showcases his creative brilliance with 13 original tracks and a deeply moving cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" and a truly scintillating cover of Curtis Mayfield's all powerful "People Get Ready".

Precious Thompkins, the president of Uncle Win's Music Productions, Inc., told a reporter that the goal was to produce a recording that was both new and familiar at the same time, a collection of songs that any listener could feel at home with immediately. "Win knew he was taking a risk covering such iconic songs as Imagine and People Get Ready, but it clearly paid off because they integrate seamlessly with Win's original material. We're very pleased with this album launch.  We see it as a perfect fit for R&B, soul and other commercial urban radio stations. We anticipate great success"

Win Thompkins said "music is something that brings people together. Having peace as a loose unifying theme in this album will hopefully get people to think more about how we all share this beautiful planet and how harmony is way better than strife." Precious Thompkin's, Win's wife, added, "this is also why we recently hooked up with an international pro-peace project from New York, and released a single called 'I Declare World Peace'. Win took their lyrics and composed and performed a modern R&B song with a timeless message.  These kinds of messages need to get out and heal the world.
